My EK Rescue Project. Shave, Tuck, Boost, In Progress(No 56k)
Well, to start I will give a quick run-down of my history and why I like tuning cars. My first car was a Ford "Festiva" @ 15 yrs old. It was my moms', but she got a new car so...Used and abused that thing! Learning to drive. Gotta love it! Layed it on it's side once, put it into a ditch, did some snow drifting, some rallying, jumping, it got some real abuse. Next i got my cherry popped in the Honda world. At 17 yrs. old, I got a '71 Honda Civic CVCC. It was in perfect shape except for the motor. Exterior and interior were like the thing just left the showroom floor. It had about 250 miles left in it when I got it; my heart was crushed when that thing sh*t it's pants on me. Little did I know, it had a look of it's own and "COULD" have been a cool car. Not fast, but cool. I was just too young to realize it, so I took it to the salvage yard. Then I got into a VW Golf(1995). It was a piece of sh*t, really. I hate those cars! That's all there is to be said about that. Then I had a buddy that had a GSR turbo'd. Saw the car win some races that blew me away. From that day forward I wanted a nice Honda with boost. So I got a EF hatch and never ended up boosting, or tuning it. Too broke! Sold it for a EG coupe that had a body kit and shaved exterior, but no motor. Everything was shaved! Door handles, side moldings, trunk lights, roof moldings, front and rear bumper, I mean everything! Yes, I hadn't matured into a classy tuner(as i like to call it) yet. "The Fast And The Furious" syndrome got me bad. Here are some pics of that build:
They're all just thrown in there because this isn't a thread on this car. Just some history.
So there you have it. Kind of all over the place but hey. Now, I do have some more pics of the Si that I am ***** deep into right now but they are on a buddy's computer. When he sends them to me, I'll load them up for you guys. Keep in mind I work a normal job, so I only get a few hours a night to work on it. I will start with the collection of parts for the car:
Here is the parts for the motor and turbo kit. No haters please!
I will be converting this into a back-door set-up
some of the turbo
this I'll use for charge pipe along with some other stuff
Lucas 550's saturated
srp 10.5/1
eagle h-beams with the arp big bolts
the valve-train: I used some different retainers though. got them with the b16 head I got
all back from the machine shop
the crank went too
fresh bore
all n.i.b.
WORKED FOR DUSTIN @ COMPOSITES FAB AND MADE A ROOF CAP FROM THIS CAR BEFORE I ACTUALLY BOUGHT THE CAR. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT DUSTIN. PLEASE!!!!!!!!
SOME BODY PICS: MORE DAMAGE THAN IT LOOKS. YOU'LL SEE WHEN I GET THE OTHER PICS
SO NOW FOR THE PICS OF THE WIRE TUCK AND SHAVE PROCESS: DASH IS OUT
CLEANING OUT THE BAY:
NOW FOR SOME OF THE WELDS:
And now we jump forward a couple of weeks to the ground, prep'd, and primed bay. Pics of it painted will be up soon:
More to come. I may even organize this mess a little bit too. Sorry for the crappy format here. It's my first build thread. Much more to come though!

FEEL FREE TO COMMENT. NO HATER TOTS THOUGH!
So I finally made it out to my buddies shop again and got some good pics of the engine bay. It's all painted and halfway put together. i got too impatient to wait for my camera. So I started re-assembly. Here you go:
I also told my buddy that I was going to show off his chop top. It's been a work in progress for a while now. he only works on it every once in a while. Few and far between actually. But check out this thing. I think it's sick.
Check out how low the top is:
And check out this fender. Looks pretty good. Fits his 18x9xreally wide rims and tires pretty well. This is with the car up on jack-stands, so there is lots of fender gap. Sits real low usually.
And a comparison to my stock fenders:

Thanks again guys! I am going right now to tow it back home and start on the implanting of the motor. I will get some pics of the hardlines before I do that though.
