Default My CHEAP Civic Build, LOL

Ok, so here goes nothing. I bought this car back in November for $200 USD, and this is what I started with...

1994 Dx Coupe with 76,XXX original miles.

I sold the fat fives for $200, so I'm in the car for free, and tore it down to this...


...and now on to the slow build pics, with a few goodies along the way...

The Integra that I bought, raped, and scrapped and made all my money back on. Can you say FREE parts?

^^I know its crooked, have yet to get auto to manual conversion mount...


My REAL EG6 SiR Console

My Tokico RAK Damper kit...



This is where I stand as of now, gonna yank motor out in the next week or so to shave the bay and bedline it, then its time to replace the wheels bearings and hubs for the teg suspension and install my damper kit when it goes back together. Then my favorite part, body and paint.


I don't think its too bad considering that everything you see minus the suspension I only have around $25 in, including full LS swap, Teg brake swap, GSR sway bars, console, and the car itself, lol.

Yeah, bought the car from a buddy who got it from 1st owner, but needed money so I gladly helped him. Then found a slightly wrecked LS integra for $200 that ran/drove and drove it to the shop and demolished it. Between scrapping and selling of various parts I actually made money on the deal, as if I were paid to own it at one point. Purchasing of some stuff like GSR sways cost me some and console cost some, which put me back at $25 invested total. Then the Tokicos set me back $600 new.

im so envious of the garage space....here in nyc a spot like that would cost 3k + to rent a month

The first pic is in our old shop where I work, all the rest is our new shop thats 17.000+ sq ft. Its not mine though, just fringe benefit of my job, lol.

Thanks, but it did cost me money up front but just my knowledge and business skills left me at the little to no money invested. I'll just say I have a few buddies (like the guy I bought it from) who really really hate me right now, lol.

Either I haven't been in the game long enough, or I need to freshen up on my knowledge and business skills. I think a lot more people could actually finish what they started if they took after someone like you! Very nice, can't wait to see the end result!

You just have to know how to talk to people sometimes. Like "sure this car is wrecked, it may run and drive but it will only scrap for like 3, but again its wrecked. I'll give you two right now..."
