Default Motor Swaps Gone Wrong And Motor swaps Done Right.

Ok post any thing about Motor swaps both good and bad here would love to hear horror stories and ones that just whent to ez.

i'll start if off

this guy i know (not a friend i just Know Him) got the Bright idea to put a DOHC ZC (D16A1) in a 91 Hatch.i talked to him here and there and he got it all in a "wired up" but it wouldn't Start. first thing was he used the pin out from a OBD1 harness on a OBD0 car then he hooked the coil directly to the battery Backwards (coil neg to Batt Pos and coild Pos to Batt Neg) LOL. so i said i would look at it. first off looked like 4 6 Year olds and played with Ducktape and Phone wire under the hood. i spent all day running new wire put in a New disty and som othe sensors he had run to the batteries Pos and got it to run. (had cels but it ran) so i told him to get the harness from http://WWW.RYWIRE.COM. and i pulled All the wires from under the Hood OUT. 3 weeks later he got the harness back fro Rywire. hooked it up and pluged in the PG7 ECU i found for himand perfection NO CEL's runs great i drove it around the block all is well. the next day he calls me and tells me it's throwing a cel can i help i go over there and he's cut out some of the harness to put in a radio and Tach. i fix it and tell him if he cut it again i'll cut all the wires into 1" chunks and tell him to deal with it. Later that night i get a call it's him yelling at me that i the car is too fast and he just got aressted for doing 134 in a school zone and it's my fault i didn't warn him the car would be fast and i had to go bail him out and pay to get his car out of impound. to witch i told him NOT MY PROBLEM!! "CLICK"

so what did we learn Rywire makes Motor and or ECU swaps EZ as Hell
And there needs to be a Minimum IQ to get a DL
And an even Higher ONe to Owen or Drive a Honda

haha...its like buying a Ferrai and sueing Ferrai for your tickets. I just dont get how ignorant some people are. My god, think a little damn it.

My Uncle in law throws in a jdmb16 in his eg and forgets to bolt up the axle bolt. Next thing you know the axle comes off and tears the **** out of his fender well and side skirts.
