Moonroof Problem
I haven't used my moonroof in a couple years and it's due to the fact that it has a hard time opening and closing. When I open it, one side of the glass appears to be higher than the other side, thus scraping the top of the roof of the car. When I close it, the rubber liner always catches on the roof of the car and I'd have to help it along with my fingers in order to fully close it. Any ideas what it could be? I did a quick search and someone suggested it could be a recoil spring? I'm not sure what it could be, but any help would be appreciated.

Re: Moonroof Problem
Not sure if you fixed yours, but i figured out the problem with mine.. Finally. Turns out, somehow, the screws holding the sunroof motor came loose to the point where the gear wasn't in contact with the cable. So i pulled the headliner and motor, re-adjusted the cables so they were even and replaced the motor.. hope this helps
