Hey guys having a lot of trouble trying to fix my problem.

When I start up the car, it sounds fine at idle, but every 5-10 seconds, there is a slight pop as the engine misses. It is very slight, and you wouldn't notice it unless you were really looking for it. If I hold the revs higher, it's still there.

The main problem is that when the engine heats up after about 5 mins of driving, it won't rev all the way. If I hold my foot to the floor, the revs pick up for a bit, then at about 5k, the revs drop and drop until the engine almost stalls, then when I lift off, it returns to (almost) normal idle. It gets gradually worse too, until it won't rev up past 2k

If I turn the engine off and back on, it seems fine for another minute or 2, but then it happens again.

Things I have replaced.

Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Fuel pressure regulator
Fuel lines
Lambda sensor
Distributor
Ht leads
Spark plugs
Engine loom

Checked ignition timing - fine
Checked Tps and map are not mixed
No cel and no codes.
Fuel pressure is fine
Fitted a decat

Any ideas guys.
I have triple checked the basics like water, oil, throttle body, plugs, earths etc etc

What do you think?

Plug wires, cap, and rotor - are these old?

CEL work?

Cel works. I disconnected the map sensor to manually throw a code and tested it. - seems to be correct!
New cap and rotor. Ht leads are used, but tested on another motor.

Could be the ecu. Will test another one.
