milky brown stuff under oil cap,wtf???
i remove my oil cap and saw this mily brown thing build up.
by the way its in a turbo b16a that not running right now? could it be piston rings or head gasket?

Yeah headgasket for sure. Now look in your radiator or drain it and see if there's oil in there.

could "blow by" be causing this too.
which head gasket to use, should i go oem or after market ones. this is a bone stock b16a @7 psi of boost

riiiight because its turbo, the first thing to break are the sleeves.
pull the oilpan
drain the coolant
look for anaomilies. if the HG is gone you will find "peanut butter" substance of oil mixing with coolant.

blown head gasket....good time to upgrade..
you can use a stock one but if you are interested..i happened to have one for sale made by inline pro..

yeah its kinda like a "peanut butter" substance, so its the headgasket. now how hard is it to change one.

it can be done in a few hours if you know how to do it, if you dont, give yourself a weekend and make SURE to use a helms, step by step.
a shop will charge 400-600+ for a HG replacment.

True, but most people that are running a stock block would probably rather blow a headgasket then blow a ringland or sleeve.

i hope its only a head gasket, im gonna try to change it myself. ive only been boosting not even for a week and boosted no more than 15 times, im really upset right now and just wanna get this stupid thing over with, it sucks not having a car

I can see the sleeve cracking on a B20, but not on any other motor.
