MAP sensor voltages/testing on 99 civic Si
Does anyone have the specs on the MAP voltages? I searched, and I couldn't find anything helpful.
I know that the yel/red wire should have around 5V when compared to ground
The Green/white is ground
The 3rd wire (forgot the color) is a signal back to the ECU.
My question is: high Voltage at high vac. or high voltage at low vac.??
What are the voltage specs from the 5v reference to the ECU signal?
I'm guessing I'd have to measure the voltage difference between idle and WOT from the yel/red wire to the signal wire (the one who's color I forgot). Or do I measure from signal to ground?
Help me out, please. I dont have a Haynes manual.
The car is a 99 civic Si.

Nevermind. I found the answer elsewhere.
Incase anyone else is searching for the same thing:
yellow/red - 5V
green/white - ground
red/green = signal
measurements are taken from +signal -ground.
high voltage = low pressure (atmosphere is just under 3V)
Thanks for all the help, jerks.

You can milk a goat with a voltmeter?
Sorry B serious would have helped you but didnt see this thread until now. I had alot of map sensor problems before.
