low idle...b16a2
recently i noticed that my motor has a pretty low idle. it idles around the second and third bar on my tach, close to the bottom. so i'm guessing, maybe around 300? it doesn't sound like the motor is going to die, not rough at idle. the motor runs great, no problems what so ever. my tach also works fine and is correct. i was thinking it's my clutch or flywheel. clutch is an exedy racing clutch stage 1 and a act prolite flywheel. is it normal or what? the clutch and flywheel came with the car so i don't know if they were properly installed but i've had no problems after 1k miles driving it. well, thanks in advance for any help.

where is that screw and how am i supposed to check it? sorry, never had to delt with anything like that. also, what do you mean tension in the throttle cable?

nope. nothing seems to be wrong with my motor at all. i just look at my tach and the idle is very low.

i checked the idle adjustment screw and i think i maybe have fixed it. i didn't unplug the iacv though, i just let the car warm up, then turned the screw. i turned it both ways to see if it worked. i turned it enough to were the cars idle was really low, then turned it back up. i took it for a drive and at a stop sign it looked like the idle was normal, then i parked it in my garage and went back down to around 500, maybe less. so i'm not sure. i'd just like to get it to a normal state so i can sleep better, even though the car runs perfect.
should i try and unplug the iacv? how could i go about doing this? would i take off the bolts holding it or just unplug the wires?
when i first got the car it idled normal, i've driven it about 1k miles since i had it and now the idle is lower. would the spark plug, spark plug wires and rotor have anything to do with the idle?
well thanks for the help guys, appreciate it
