Loud, not constant, thumping noise when braking
Everytime I go to brake to come to a stop, I hear a loud thumping, like a loud knocking, noise coming from the front of the car. It's not consistent to the point where it will happen all the time to where you can guess it's next knock. I don't believe it has anything to do with the rotors because braking is smooth. Only problem is the loud thump/knocking noise.
I removed the lower ball joints a few weeks ago to replace my transmission, and reinstalled them like normal. Could one of the LBJs be producing this noise?
I also removed my traction control bar thinking that was the source, but it wasn't.
Any suggestions?

Can't feel the knocking, only hear it. And its not constant suggesting a warped rotor. I believe it has nothing to do with the brakes.
