lifter tick help!

lifter tick help!
i have a d16 sohc vtec. i hear my lifters ticking slightly,what can i do to make this go away so i wont have further problems?????

rare?pushrod?is that good. hmm about 200k. but it was fully maintainded and runs fine.had it since june of last year and nothings been wrong before.previos owner was 1st owner and took great care of it?the car is quick and you cant tell it has 200k miles on it

hey man i got te same sound, but i only heard after i put my headers on, weird but i dunno, doesn't affect the performance and i have only 56k miles

im nervous bc my friend had a 97 civic and had bad lifter tick and later within a month blew up...ahh my one friend said to add auto trans fluid to my motor, left it ruun for 25 mins and then drain, and then change the oil... btw my car is 5 spd

Adjust valve lash, you'll have to look at a manual for the details.
Also, another thing to remember is that you'll always hear SOME clicking, as your injectors make some noise when they pulse (mine do at least, and so do my DSM 450cc's, but they're much louder)

what repair manual would i look in learn how to adjust valve lash. cause my z6 has only 39xxx and its makes a slight clicking sound. thinkin its my valves. is there ne online manuels i would use..or do i have to buy the manuel?

adjusting valves isn't hard, but you should still have a manual for more involved things.
