K20a2 into a 97 hatch
has anyone done this swap? im in the market for a new motor and one of my friends at work has a friend with a K20a2+trans for $2000. I was wondering what all i would need to do it other than the mount kit, k series ecu/k-power, and axles. am i going to be upgrading my fuel system and cooling? what else am i going to have to have and about how much is total cost?

That price is if you have all the work done for you. Including getting the engine, tranny, etc.
If you find the stuff yourself, and do the work yourself, you can shave probably close to $4,500 off that. Maybe even a little more. You just gotta shop around.

Even the installed price sounds way high. I got quoted 7k at a local shop here (not for the A2, for the R spec). That was for the full swap. I guess some places are more expensive, but 10k is a rip off.
