35.99 shipped... that is where he is making the money. $40 sounds like a rip for a piece of junk. i'd rather save my money by skipping a few meals out and get a stainless steel magnaflow.

well if it is really 2.99 then it prolly wont please you too much. Good exhaust can set you back in the hundreds. But it should last a couple days

You get what you pay for.

haha "Increase up to 15 HP"
I'd like to see that.

Sheeet for 2.95 it's worth it. Just as long as you don't just weld it to your stock pipeing = gay

I am only guessing it probably won't sound too great, but you never know until you try it out. As far as the guys who advocate expensive exhausts, it's not necessary to buy a name brand set of tubes & muffler for 2, 3, 500+ dollars to relieve the pressure of an oe muffler. I mean, do gucci sunglasses block more sunlight than any other tinted plastic?

A real exhaust meaning 400-500 bucks.

It's ok to get just a muffler if you get custom piping (kteller). Then you only spend 300 at the most. That's why some peeps just get a muffler first.

That muffler does looks shitty though

to me it all depends on what kinda pipe size you have and engine mods to go with it... if you have 3 inch piping on a stock ex civic it will sound like ****... to much free flow. no back pressure either. to small sounds good but you lack power. to me you should just pay 150 and get a magnaflow and custom 2.5in piping. Sounds good and low/deep. and not to loud till you get on it. and that 150 vs 4-500 dollars is cool with me plus the guys with the evo exhaust look good but it prob only helps them get .5hp over the 150$ setup.. but thats just my OPINION.

I was told the piping does the gain... not the can.

The can must be free flowing in order for the piping to do much good, so it's a combination of both.

Funny how ou buy the muffler, THEN ask of it's good or not.

It's like buying a car, THEN asking if there is a motor and transmission in it.

to you.

It's a perforated steel tube with some fibrous wrapping and a shiny exterior case. In other words what you have there is a glasspack.

Mufflers will give you different sounds but you really aren't going to get any power from a muffler. Your Ebay knockoff is as good as any for power

well it's your car and it's your money. If you're worried about what people on H-T think about it then yeah I guess it was stupid, you should have spent $500 on some JDM bling (they would have bashed you for being too JDM tho).

Dude...a muffler's a muffler (well most of the time). Just get some kteller piping and you'll be happy. Not to mention youll end up saving a couple hundred bucks as opposed to buying some name brand catback.
