p2a-4 (96) head is from what engine?
stamped zc on block.
im trying to figure out if i have a vtec head on a non vtec block.
because i can sure as hell feel that vtec at full throttle but i cant seem to find any vtec solenoids... help please.

ive been trying to figure this one out ever since i bought it from craigs...
im guessing its non vtec because its not thattt fast but still pulls hard

Is there a VTEC solenoid on it? The HEADS are VTEC. Not the blocks.

ohhh didnt know thatttt.
i see no solenoid. kid said it was a y8 head and i know the d16y8 is vtec.
are the solenoids connected on the block or the head?

I said the blocks are not VTEC.

That means the solenoid is on the head, it should be on the passenger side behind the distributor

It's Just a sohc zc motor non Vtec came from base model Honda integra's

Do you have one of these on the head on the left back side of the head?

no vtec solenoid...

so its a sohc zc NON vtec with a p2a-4 head...

now whats the p2a-4 head?

its stamped 95 on the bottom of the block. so is this from a JDM 1995 integra?
