integra brakes on civic
I've got a quick question about swapping integra brakes to a 92-95 Civic (92 CX specifically..) I want to upgrade my front and rear brakes to integra brakes and I found a donor, 90 integra at a local junk yard.
Which parts do I specifically need from the front and the rear to complete this swap.
Rear:
Rear trailing arm
Ebrake cable
Front:
??
Also, what is the difference between the rear trailing arm from 90-93 and 94-01? I noticed the part number is different...

The trailing arms will be fine. Although, the caliper bracket and caliper lines are different from the DC or 92-00 civic rear disk.
Get the stuff from a 92-95 civic or 94-01 integra for the best fit. They're pretty easy to find at junkyards. There's about 10 billion of them around here.
The 88-91 civic or 90-93 integra front spindles are of a different geometry.
If you use 96-00 civic front spindles, you will need an alignment. Real bad. But that's not a big deal. They fit just fine after the alignment.
So to recap:
Most prefferably a 92-95 civic or 94-01 integra setup. Get the correct prop valve as well. Get the brake lines, line washers, and E brake cables.
The 96-00 civic setup will be the second preference. You need all the parts as above but you will also need the e brake cables from a 92-95 civic or 94-01 integra. The 96-00 civic uses a different E brake cable.
The 90-93 integra or 88-91 civic is least preferred. The suspension geometry and other parts are very different. You will run into more than a few snags. I think the E brake cables are either similar or the same, however.

You can use 94-01 Integra Front & Rear brakes with no problems, or you can also use 99-00 Civic Si Front & Rear Brakes as well. If I remember correctly, the 90-93 trailing arm uses a different trailing arm bushing but that should be the only difference. The front knuckles are a different curviture than the 94-01 Integra or 92-00 Civic so I would also recommend not getting the 90-93 Integra fronts.
You can, however, use the 90-93 Integra brake components onto 94-01 Integra knuckles.

Line washers are the copper washers that go between the caliper banjo bolt, fitting, and caliper. They're easy to lose, hard to find.
Berlina is the ONLY S2000 color. Why'd you get rid of it?

Called a couple places near my house, they want $75 for each front knuckle and 125-150 for the rear trailing arm assembly for each side... $450!? passwordjdm.com sells the fronts for 159 and the rears for 179.. Would that be the best way to go?

You should be able to get the complete rear suspension for $125-150 a side. You have to call places where you pull the parts off yourself, or else you're going to pay a premium. It is possible to swap just the knuckles, but you better have the right tools (torx bits, air compressor, small ball joint popper).

It will require an air compressor to get it off or back on? Or are you saying try to buy it from the salvage yard already pulled off? I've got a lot of tools.. just need the parts

Junkyards rip you off if they take off the parts for you. Try to go to a "You steal it" type of place. lol but dont steal stuff. That's fu#$ed up. It should really only be around $50 for the whole trailing arm and caliper and rotor assembly. That's about what they are around here. I once got the whole rear setup for $50 for both because of some junkyard confusion.
I've even gotten a 5 lug for $300.
You just gotta know where to look. People's driveways are a start. lol...jk jk...seriously dont do that either.

I live out in the sticks though.. I can't seem to find any pick/pull junk yards. I guess I'll have to make a Saturday out of this and head down to the city. Thanks!

If you have salvage auctions in your area you could buy the whole dc2. Then you'll have everything you need for the brake swap as well as for a b series swap. That's what I did I found a 93 civic dx for $700 and got a running and driving 96 teg for $600. Everything is an upgrade engine, complete suspension (including sway bars) and brakes. You even get seats. You could do the dash as well but, it requires some trickery. Plus tons of extra parts like struts, ball joints, bushings dual bend shifter. Everything just bolts up. Buy an eBay turbo and you got a pretty quick b18 swapped eg with mad upgrades.
