Idle Problem
Hey guys, so I was hoping someone could help me out. I have a 2000 b16a2 in my 98 hatch and the other day I changed m Idle air control valve bc I was having a issue with the rpm's going up and down really fast when the car warmer up. Also when this would happen and I hit the throttle my car would jerk back and fourth. I changed the iac and also adjusted the Idle screw in the throttle body and nothing has helped. Have any of you guys ran into this issue or heard about it before. Any input would help. Thanks.

Re: Idle Problem
unplug the IACV.
If it still surges it is not your problem.
plug of all vacuum lines. A vacuum line or the part they are hooked to could be leaking.

Re: Idle Problem
I did that and it does stop the surging. As soon as I pug it back it starts again. Is it possible that I have two bad iac valves though?

Re: Idle Problem
In these kind of situations where you've replaced parts and nothings changed, its time to ask for a buddy to come and help assist you or even a mechanic dont drive your car like that.
