Cruise Control Kill switch!?
So I have a 1996 Honda Civic Ex Sedan, and I have done a lot of upgrading to it; there's a lot more upgrades to come in the spring XD. I already have an alarm and removable steering wheel with an NRG hub lock on it. I was considering turning my cruise control button into a kill switch! I deleted my cruise control components from the engine bay so all I have left is the button and the wires it comes with. I would like to loop the cruise control wires to the ignition wires so that the car will only start once the cruise control button is pushed in. I was just wondering if this is possible(i think it should be) and how to do it if it is. I have very little knowledge on the electronic side of things. ANY HELP OR ADVICE IS APPRECIATED! I would prefer routing the wires to the ignition rather that the fuel pump(sounds easier to me?), unless you have a good reason to do that instead, or any other ideas.
oh yeah, F*** THIEVES!!!!

Splice your ignition power into cruise control power? As long as your cruise control button still gets power
Fuel pump might be easier but very easy to find
Just make sure when u do kill switeches use a soldering gun heat shrink and try to use same color wires make it look stock and if you put some isolation around the wires like Honda does you shouldn't have problems

lol.. thief is going to break off the steering lock, twist the switch and see that all the lights come on but the car won't crank.. if he's any bit smart i'm pretty sure he'll just pop the hood and jump the solenoid with whatever random wire he can rip from wherever.
fuel pump kill is the only way. and even then you've got to be pretty sneaky.

Re: Cruise Control Kill switch!?
theif will also hit every switch in the dash trying to get it to start. Especially cruise and A/C. (most commonly unused)
They'll also flip any switch he can find not in the dash.
Multiple switches that have to be in a specific pattern is the best way, can be combined with the cruise and A/C switches if you'd like.
black/yellow (has 12V on it in factory wiring) and light green and connected when the cruise switch is on, disconnected when the switch is off.
You could also use the cruise switches in the wheel;
resume/accel - light_green/black has 12V when pressed
set/decel - blue and light_green/red has 12V when pressed
wires are in the three pin grey connector under the steering column.
as far as how to hook everything up, the less you publish on public forums the better.
