Dart block + 35psi or so...or is your car a daily?
Built K24 block...not enough cash?
.............ect...ect...ect......
What are you going to do with this car, besides try to beat your friend who has 350 whp?

The piston heads scrap the walls when you boost an H22a....
And I wouldn't recommend an Ls/Vtec for boost, sounds like problems...
I recommend an Ls, and depending what kind of turbine you get should really determine what tranny you need. Most people just go with an Ls tranny, but if you got a small turbine and aren't puttin down that much you could get away with a GSR tranny....or B16 tranny but it must have LSD (I prefer aftermarket LSD) cause the gears are to short...

Re: wats the fastest swap 2 do with turbo?
wow a lot of BS going on here.
Each engine platform has advantages and disadvantages when it comes to a turbo.
LS/Vtec can be troublesome and complicated especially for someone who hasn't run through it before. Add a turbo and you compound the problems...oil and compression mostly. Many of these blow up within the first 40k because of an inexperience builder or neglect. Have seen well built ones last 100k+(still alive) under extreme pressures of road track racing.
B20/Vtec-Amazingly easy to get 350 but like the ls/v it lends it self to problems when neglected or poorly built.
H22a has issues with finding proper pistons for replacement. not just any forge piston can go in due to the cylinder walls they have to have a special coating or alloy. Or you can resleeve. Good turbo vtech platform beyond that. Unlike B series your tranny options are pretty limited. Proper gearing can do a lot for you in a race including beating a car that heavily out matches you on a dyno. Also a heavier platform remember acceleration is a function of both mass and power commonly hp to weight ratio. if he has 350 on a b18 and you have 350 on an h22 (driver and chasis is constant) He will win I will put money on that.
LS doesn't have v-tec but does can be boosted pretty well without many problems. Easy to get parts for and relatively inexpensive. Smaller then the h22a means it will more difficult to get to 350hp with minimal lag or spool time.
B16a lends itself to be a great turbo base but is small and not as much torque. Have seen these things boosted to 375hp@14psi on stock internals (not recommended and I am frankly amazed it is still alive)
K-series- Expensive (tune, parts, swap etc)- but wont take as much to beat 350hp
Either way to reach 350 hp you will need a bottom end if you want it to last long. Do your research because each way you go you will find obstcals at that power. And balanced approach is far better then a focused approach

h22a can boost...easily...
ls/vtec when built right is great. bro had 420 hp but not the point.
if i were you and money is tight.
eagle rods + vitaras + your block = 350-400 hp for cheap

If you keep the h22 head perfect for boost!
