Unplug the ECU and then plug it back in.

...or you could read the big sticky at the top of the thread list on how to retrieve and clear CELs the right way.

Well, doesn't that just make everyone here want to help this guy out ?!? Oh, and thanks for venting in a 9 year old thread... you have offered nothing but a foul mouth and wasted bandwidth to this community. Go away troll... and try Google.

Look dude:

Many ways to do this. You can unplug the ECU, found under the carpet in the passenger footwell. Peel back carpet under glovebox, undo connectors, wait a min, reconnect.
You can unhook the battery for a minute. Self explanatory
You can pull the ECU fuse in the fuse block next to the battery (EASIEST METHOD). This allows you to keep your radio presets. The lid has a diagram showing you which fuse is the ECU fuse.

Now get out of here with that foul mouth of yours.

To clear the ECU, both the ECU and Backup fuses must be removed for a few seconds and then replaced. Unfortunately, this will clear the radio presets, and if you have the OE radio, you will need the radio code to power it back up.
