How long do "Energy Suspension Bushings" last?

i would guess as long, if not longer that stock oem bushings

You guessed wrong. They have a tendency to eat themselves. Get some new OEM bushings and you'll notice nearly as much improvement as your would with poly bushings. Plus the OEM bushings will last longer.

are you saying just the energy suspension ones, or all poly bushings, no matter what company?

I agree. However, the energy suspension bushing usually only go on VERY aggressive suspension setups/driving habits. I know people who have them on daily drivers and occassional autoX and they hold up fine

All polys, but again it depends on your driving habits. For daily driving they should hold up fine.

A avid AutoXer told me he went through 2 sets in 1 season of ES bushings... i didn't know whether to belive him because he was trying to sell me some SRR rLCAs.

Here are my choices

OEM rLCA with a sway bar mounting point and ES bushings
or
SRR rLCAs

which way to go?

by "going through them", do you mean the zip ties breaking and the outsides falling out? or do they actually wear out bad?

Which bushings are you talking about exactly? Motor mounts?

going through them i mean: "how long before the bushing breaks down?"

the bushings I am primarily concerned with are the 3 bushings in the rear lower control arm

Haven't personally deal with the lower control arm bushings made by E.S.
