Hello, just wondering what the differences if any are between the 99-00 si (b16a2) and the 99-00 ex (d16y8) I've done a b16a2 swap into a 98, and went out to get a dash harness from a 99 hatch. Everything works but my problem is the hatch didn't have a sunroof or power windows, and I would like to get both back. Will the 99-00 ex dash harness do the exact same thing for me as the 99-00 si ? Thank you

My floor harness is currently the power harness that came in my 98 si , so it is already wired up for the windows and sunroof, it should just plug in to either of those cabin harnesses yes.?

I have a power door and sunroof harness already in from my shell ( 98 si d16y8 ) my question is are the 99-00 si and 99-00 ex cabin harness' the exact same

As long as it’s from a 99-00 ex 5 speed the dash harness is the same as the si. I believe the ex auto harness is different.

That's really good news. Are you positive on this ? They're both 5 speeds, and ofcourse there is alot more ex's around as opposed to Si's in terms of 99-00

Positive. I used the same 5 speed ex cabin harness on my 1999 hatch. They are the same part number. You are using the floor and door harnesses from a 99-00 too correct? I think the 98 and earlier are different. Let me know if you run into any questions when you make the swap.

My floor harness is from a 98, but it's for power windows and sunroof, you think it will be different ? Thanks for the help by the way

I think the connectors are going to be different and cause some issues. You might be able to pin them out, but I used all the harnesses and doors from a 99 ex and it was plug and play.

The door, radio, power locks, door lock module, dome light harness, are different on the 1999-00 models compared to the 98 models

Also the dash harness is different in the 1996-98 models because they had manual blend doors

The engine harness is the same from 98-00, but the interior harness are completely different from 1998 to 1999 models in the united states

Ok. What's my easiest bet to get my sunroof and power windows back ? I've got a 99 hatch cabin harness in right now without power windows or sunroof. If I got a 99 si cabin harness and a 99 floor harness would they work if my doors/ sunroof are 98?
