how do you clean the lens of a car cd player?

i know this is a little ot, but i'm not getting any help in the audio forum. any of you cleaned the lens of a cd player? my eclipse deck sometimes skips for no reason.

i cleaned mine with one of those home cd cleaners. I bought it at bestbuys

yeah what is wally world? so you just put in the cd from the cleaner kit and it cleans it? how does that work? thanks

Those cleaner kits are just a cd with a fine bristled brush and you just put them on a certain track for like 7 seconds to clean the lens, booyah.
