Spray break cleaner around the intake manifold, when you see the idle goes down then that's where the vacuum leak is.or u will see bubbles if it's rlly bad

Why brake cleaner? Not questioning your methods...just curious.

its nice and flammable. so when the car sucks it in, the irradic idling goes away since its burning whats going in. my buddy used a propane tank with a hose to do the same thing on his firebird. he just cracked the valve open a bit and followed all the lines till it went away. then he knew what to fix

I sprayed everything connected to the intake manifold and where the intake mates to the cylinderhead and did not find any leaks.

wouldn't the vacuum leak your looking for just suck in the soapy water, seeing as it is a vacuum and all?

to the OP:
are you sure you have a vacuum leak? what is it doing? if the idle is jumping it might be a loose IAC giving you a leak also see if the rubber O-ring is bad, that would also cause leak-like simptoms if the sensor is going bad it might act the same way(but that should also throw a light i think)
