Default 92-00 suspension components

So, since the search is broken, I might as well just do this the easy way.

Are all 92-00 suspension parts interchangeable? Someone on a local tuner forum has tokico struts and h&r springs for a 92-95 civic, and I'm wondering if they'll fit on my 99 Hatch.

many parts are interchangeable. The springs you want are the same, and the shocks are different... slightly. They'll still fit though. The rear shock brackets are a little wider on an EG than an EK, so you can either get EG rear shock bushings, the entire EG LCAs, or just put washers in the leftover gap between the bracket and bushing (equal # of washers on each side is what I would do... as close as you can get)

Well he's selling the strut/springs together, and I'd just buy the set, then ditch the springs then get skunk2 coilovers. Would that still work?

No...all 92-95 and 96-00 parts are not interchangeable.

Yes, 92-95 shocks will fit a 99 hatch. You need to use 2 thick washers between the rear shock and LCA bushing.

96-00 shocks will not work on a 92-95, though.

The 92-95 has a fatter shock to LCA bushing.

92-95 and 96-00 LCAs are not interchangeable. The 96-00 has a longer LCA.

To answer your question simply, what the guy is selling you will work. Just use some washers on the rear shock to LCA mount.

yea that would work
idk why you would do that though... H&R's are nice springs. I have them and they're great.

Because I'm mostly doing it for aesthetic purposes. He says the H&R springs don't offer much of a drop.

It's going to ride like *** if it's slammed. Especially on linear, high rate springs and full length shocks that are beyond their drop capability...

Just get some garbage full body coilovers. They're cheap on ebay. D2s or Megans or Omnis or something. Hell...even SKUNK2 full coilovers are only like $700ish?

Are they H&R OE Sport, Sport, or Race?
Sports are the most common kind and what they probably are, and lower an advertised 1.6" front, 1.8" rear, but more like 2" in all reality.

I'm pretty sure they're OE sport. He said it was barely any of a drop. And he's selling them for 200$ for the set, and the skunk2 coils are ~300$, so I'd save 200$ on the pro s's. I'm a student, so my budget is pretty tight, therefore I'm just trying to find the best deals out there.
