i just bought a 99 si and they gave me the stock cd player but it has a code and i cant use it anyone know how to unlock it?

does it come with a manual book for the car. when i bought my civic (95) it came with it and the code was in the book. thats were i found my code. why not just get a aftermarket cd player that will do the trick.

look it up on some honda manuel online, CALL a honda dealership, maybe unplug ur battery for 5 minutes, reconnect, maybe it'll reset it, cuz thats how u reset ecu's, so that might work..

no, actually thats how the c/d deck was locked. id go to a honda dealer and ask them, they MIGHT have the codes in a database.

that was my other solution, but i wouldnt even waste my time driving there, i'd just call

If you have the radio out of the car, take it to a Honda dealership and have them run the serial number through the iN system for you to get the security code. You may need identification and proof of ownership.

If you call the dealer and provide them with the radio serial number and the VIN, they'll look up the code for you.

I had the same problem.... I just got a aftermarket radio.

i cant find it right now but someone who worked for honda had all the codes typed up and a mastercode i think
