Honda snap ring tool to replace the lower ball joint boot
Trying to save some money and wanted to know if there is an aftermarket equivalent to the Honda snap ring tool used to replace the lower ball joint boot on civic EG. The part number I am referring to is 07965-SA50500. Thanks

Re: Honda snap ring tool
I don't remember any special tool needed. The ring for the boot is like a big thin key ring, it just rolls in place. The snap ring for the ball joint to lower control arm is a standard snap ring.

Re: Honda snap ring tool
There's no special tool needed. To remove the spring clip that holds the ball joint off simply use your hands and a flat screwdriver, the same goes for installation.
