Honda brakes bleed in normal or reverse order?
I ordered a new proportioning valve for my CDM 1995 Civic LX "Special Edition", and after giving it to me, the parts guy said that the technician had said to bleed the brakes in REVERSE order (starting closest to the MC). Has anyone heard of this before?

Service manual says do it this way:
-right rear
-left front
-left rear
-right front
I've always gone from RR to LR, then RF to LF.
Just get all the air out, it doesn't really matter as long as you get the air out.

Going from either rear to it's mated wheel (dual diagonal braking; LR to RF, RR to LF) would get all the air out of that system before doing the other mated pair.
IMO, Failing to do that would increase the chances of putting more air into the system you just bled the rear on. For me, it seems to take less total bleeding doing the mated front wheel before starting the other pair.
I use a pressure bleeder as I don't have any friends when work needs to be done. This makes the order irrelevant.

the brakes are split diagonally, left rear front left, etc, just bleed them that way and you will be fine, just make sure you don't let all the fluid leak out of the master when changing the valve, or will have to be bench bled

Sorry to be such a scrub, but is brake fluid gonna start vomiting out of the lines when I detach them?
