Hmm? Gas Tanks? EX & SI...Differences?
What's the difference between an 97 Civic EX gas tank compared to my 00 Civic SI gas tank? Does the SI gas tank hold more gas or what? Because I just dropped the tank from my parts car and my EX and I noticed they are different? So I was thinking about swapping the SI tank onto my EX if it's better in anyway? Is the Si fuel pump compatiable with my 97 Civic EX w/ a D16Y7 motor in it? Any replies are helpful. Would like to know so I can hurry and finish putting my car back together.

Haha, I know that! Knowledge is power! I just wanted to see what was the difference, because the Si tank has an extra line compared to my EX tank...I just never looked to see where it goes yet. Please reply ONLY if you know!

That extra line is way bigger compared to all the rest also. Oh and the piping where you pour your gas into has two small pipes along with the main pipe that run to the tank as with the EX, it only has one small one with the main one.

Re: (Syndacate)
It's all good homie....well, looks like nobody even knows??? Oh well, looks like if I can't get no help from the fellow Honda Community, then f*** it. I'm just gonna swap them over anyways and see what happens. If anybody ATLEAST knows if a SI fuel pump, fuel regulator, and fuel evaporator( I think that's what it's called?), fuel injector, and a fuel rail will work with my D16Y7 then that would help too? Let me know what will work out of the above!
