High Pitch Squeaky Noise....Please Identify

High Pitch Squeaky Noise....Please Identify
I have 1993 Del Sol Si and it was lowered with Tein springs (1.5 ~ 1.8 inches) on stock. It has been 2 years since I lowered it..... alignment is perfect...
I started hearing a high pitch noise coming from the front wheels a few weeks ago, and now I can hear it continuously (not loud) when the car is moving. The sound reminds me of the brake pads squeaking or rusted belt turning, but they are not the source of the sound. I don't hear any other noises coming from there and I don't feel any thumping or grinding sensation on my steering when turning or stopping.
What could this be? Where is this noise coming from?

I can hear it clearly, especially when I am driving near a side walk. The sound bounces back from the edge of the side walk and I can hear it clearly.
It sounds like a rusty metal fan that needs to be oiled...
It makes the sound only when the wheels are turning...

Sounds like you may have thrown a wheel bearing/need to re-adjust your calipers (loosen). Is there any jumping in the pedal when you brake?

Funny you mention it.......I have recently experienced this noise coming from my front drivers side wheel at highway speeds for a couple weeks and now the noise is gone...idk.
Is it coming from both front wheels or one? I used to get pebbles stuck behind the backing plate of one wheel and it would make a noise like you're describing...maybe thats it? You would hear it scraping/turning as the wheel was moving. GL

Mine 93 DX is also making the same noise, drivers side front. Started getting a lot worse a couple days ago, so I took the wheel off and spun it fwd and back to get a better feel of what's wrong.
Changing the wheel bearing tomorrow...yea for me!
