HID light installation
I have a 2000 si. Bought it and it already had the HID headlight kit. The corner lights on the drivers side would occasionally not turn on unless I smacked the fender. Took the bumper off to find all the hardware for the setup is just duct taped in there. Took it to my shop and they said that there isn't really a mounting kit designed for this model car to have the HID installed properly. My question is if anyone has the same model and had or has the same issue..... do you have any quality solutions to mounting the hardware? Or is there anywhere to order a mounting kit? Thanks.

Yeah but the wiring and ballasts are taped in there. My shop said they searched and there isnt any mounting hardware designed for these year models. They recommend I go back to stock but I like the visibility at night. Just hoping to see some professional looking ideas.

Re: HID light installation
So how would anybody guide you to a fix without knowing how the lights were wired and what specific lights were installed?
Is there also a reason you didn't post informative pictures?

The car is in the shop for another reason but I asked them to take a like while they had it.
I only have a smart phone, no home computer. My phone doesn't download pics on honda-tech.com?
I can easily sheath the wiring, however there is nothing available to screw mount the wiring and ballasts to. I thought undoubtedly someone with this model would have encountered the same issue and possibly had a creative solution.
