okay i have a 4dr 98 sedan and want new seats (both front and rear) leather seats tho
i want to know which seats are compatible for my car? will they be an easy install or will i have to customize something? id also like opinions on which youd prefer.
i have tan interior and i am considering black leather seats and arm rest
(maybe ill go for type r red carpeting ) opinions opinions opinions!
i have heard of gsr seats, rsx type s, and s2k
are they easy to install? which do you think look nicest?

Re: help with seats!
i did, i found a DIY on gsr seats but it still doesnt say which seats i need to use, i assumed it had to be all from a gsr sedan but some people say i need the top rear seat from a coupe and the bottom from a sedan

Re: help with seats!
Damn. Get Acura EL seats. They are leather, fit PERFECTLY (since they are from a glorified Civic EK sedan), and even come in tan if you don't want to change colour of interior. You can even get a tan leather armrest lid.
... they are even heated (some of them) ... not that that is much help in Florida.

Re: help with seats!
4th generation (92-96) prelude seats are said to be the most comfortable stock honda seats.
If I were to re-do my seats, i'd get the 4th gen prelude front seats and integra type r rear sedan seats. Then somehow reupholster the front seats to match integra type r's if possible.

Re: help with seats!
GSR seats will bolt into your EK with a missing bolt. Not recommended for safety reasons. You would have to swap your seat rails from your stock seats. I had Del Sol seats in my old EK and it was pretty easy swapping everything over.

Re: help with seats!
I've had just about every seat out there. The Prelude seats are not bad but not nearly as comfortable as DC Integra seats IMO. I have two sets of GSR seats in both my hatches luckily.

Re: help with seats!
It grew onto me seeing as they were said to be super comfortable and a cheap seat modification, looks like the finger guys from that old Spy Kids movie.
Personal experience thanks for the info. Are you really saying any stock DC integra seat is more comfortable? 4 RS DC integras were for partout in the last 2 months locally but i've been only searching for prelude seats. Del Sol seats would be hard to come. I feel like i'm stealing this thread, i'll pm you.

Re: help with seats!
Db8 rear seats bolt right into ej6 sedans. I have itr rear seats in mine with ep3 front seats. I got the ep3's with custom Ek rails and love em

Re: help with seats!
I'm only 60% sure this ITR tutorial applies to other integra models
So that would mean whichever rear seats you get, they'd have to be out of an Integra Sedan
Don't be trusting me though, i'm just pointing some links to you i don't know if i'm right.

Here's a quote from a guy who claimed to have done it

no no no
i have 4 door gsr seats in mine and they fit flawess
the bottoms of 4 door integras fit perfect
the very end sides fit a little smaller
and the back piece is a bitch
i took the leather wrapping off the dc and the cloth wrapping off my ek and put the leather wrapping on my stock ek back seats and zip tip it back on and did the same thing for the very end pieces so that way your seats are one whole piece but they latch in perfect because they are the stock civic pieces..
my leathers fit perfect and look meant for my ek sedan!!
plus they match my black s2k seats
