Hey everyone. Now I know this sounds funny and believe me ive been laughed at already but i need help. I managed to lock my keys in my trunk. see i was working in the trunk and my bro shut the trunk with the keys in there. Now del sols as afar as i know have no trunk release inside the car, so I cant get them out. I dont hafve an extra key either, so what im asking is if there is any way i can get in the trunk without the key? like some sort of release hidden somewhere or, someway i can get in there aor a trick to get the lock open? i dont wanna break my trunk lock, but it ay be my only option. please fellow sol guys help me out!

Just to let you know I read the post but aint gots no help for you.

But this perhaps...isnt there a trunk release in the interior of the car?

BTW check the glove box also and the little console between the seats thats where it at on my vette.

y dont u just call up a locksmith? or call up a friend who can pick locks

check everywhere im sure there has to be a trunk relese.. it's tricky sometimes like for the s2k it's in the glove compartment.

Well unless its super hidden there is no release. Maybe some sol guys can put their 2 cents in? come on guys i need help.

you are right, there is NO trunk latch in the car....sucks *** i know! i've done this plenty of times before, but have always used the spare( not helping much am i ?)
the only thing i can think of is what mugensport9 said, call a locksmith. maybe even calling honda and tell them your situation might help.... sorry running out of ideas.

Crap. this sucks because a locksmith is gona be pricy since hed have to come to my house. does AAA have locksmiths that can get it open?

Is there a Honda dealer close around .....take ur VIN to the dealer and they will make u a key

Have you had them do this for you before? there is a honda dealer near me, but my friend said they wouldnt do it because i could just be doing it to steal a car. like if i was eyeing a car just copy the vin and get a key made and boom steal it ya know? but if you can do that ill do it. he said id need the title to do it and if its not in my name proof that im the owner ofthe car now. he used to workfor gm and he said thats how they do it. thanks to everyone

Just bring your registration to the dealer. (if your name is on it) It should cost you $3.
