HELP: Engine Won't Start
Thanks in Advance for your help and opinions.
This past week my car broke down. My Civic cranked but didn't start. So this past weekend, I replaced some maintenance parts that needed to be replaced. I replaced
- Fuel Filter
- Spark Plugs
- Spark Plug Wires
- Distributer Cap
- Ignition Coil
- Ignition Rotor
- Oil Change
My car has 179,000 miles. Its a 1998 Civic EX Coupe and its a automatic.
After I did all that, my car started. The problem was my ignition rotor.
Yesterday, my car broke down again for the second time. I noticed that my RPM needle went up and down a couple of times before my car died. And I also tested that no sparks came out of the new spark plugs.
My battery is new. Everything works in my car. It's not my alternator. I checked all the fuses.
I need some information from you guys of what my problems could be.
Thanks again.
