1998 civic wind-shield wiper resivor leaking why?
may not be important lol, but to me it is. i have no oil leaks, no coolent leaks , cars in tip top shape...and today i noticed a leak , the wind-shield resivor is leaking i tried to find the leak and all leads lead me to where the fuse/nipple meet(on the bottom of resivor) and i even took out the rubber gasket to see if its tore and nope. whats going on here ? maybe it is cracked and i cant see it

Im not trying to be, but it's leaking what do you want to hear? go to the yard and get one and drop it in,problem fixed, it's a plastic tank, if you can figure out how to fix a seal then try to fix it, but it's easier to just swap it out

On a 15 year old car the yard is your friend. You can also check ebay and other places online, put an add in the classifieds here, someones got one on a parts car

someone here should have one plenty of people have shells around and lots of extra parts, I threw one away a few months ago, sold the civic a while back and it wasn't useful for anything to me . If I had known you could have just had it

Wow you are worthless. You spend almost an hour trying to figure out why a tank is leaking but won't go to the junk yard to get a replacement? What is a tank's job? To hold a liquid, and keep it there without leaking. If you find one in the junk yard, and it does that job, then clean it up and drop it in, and call it a day. No need to fuss about it. Everyone here is right, just pay 2 bucks to get in the junk yard and grab that muhfucka out of another Civic. Shouldn't be too hard.
already got one .cheers
