Theres a plastic cap at the end that pops off. Under the cap is a nut that holds the arm to the motors shaft. Undo the nut. I've done this before and had to torch the nut to get it off because of the rust. Use some penetrating fluid and the proper socket/wrench to get it undone.
pop the plastic cover off the wiper arm remove the nut holding the wirper arm to the shaft wiggel and pry the arm off the shaft. If you are removing the whole unit from the car. On the inside remove the screws from the clam shell covering the wiper motor pop the shell appart. remove the nut that holds the plug/ finger hook on the left of the window. Remove the large nut from under the wiper arm on the outside of the window the motor assy should now pull out
