Default shifter hitting my cat, help

i dont know what brand of short shifter i have since it came already on the car.
but i do know its a pain in the *** to shift, like stiff as hell. and a buddy got under neath and saw that the shifter/linkage may be rubbing against my cat, you can hear it. i was wondering if anyone else had this issue and what did they do, cause ive tried dropping the hangers a bit but it didnt do anything the cat is just to large i think (its stock)

I've had that problem with no name and after market shifters....my advise, ditch it!

You can go to a pick n pull and buy a 94-01 integra shifter for $10, it has a wicked nice position, and won't hit your exhaust any more
