grinding noise when turning:(
Hi
Noticed today when going up a carpark that when I turn hard lock to the left there is a grinding/tapping noise from the front of the car. I thought it might be a ball joint or wheel bearing? any other ideas?

If your car is lowered or if you have plus-sized rims and tires you're probably rubbing at full lock. If not, it's either a CV joint (axle...it's easier to replace and just as expensive) or a thrashed wheel bearing.
