Default GOOD or BAD Tires????? 195-45-15

Hey guys, are these good tires to put on my SI rims?
The brand is Kumho Ecsta....

OR

Should I get the Kumho Ecsta 712's in size 195-50-15

Which one gives you less noise? My car is slammed so, What are some good suggestions? BTW... IT DOESN"T RUB RIGHT NOW...(I have some Kumho's 195-55-15)

Thanks....

Whats a Good place to buy tires besides Discount?

195/45/15 will give you an even harsher ride than you currently have. Not to mention, it's going to throw the speedo off even more.

I'd stick with the 195/50/15 or better yet, go back to the stock Si size.

Nobody comes close to the customer satisfaction that TireRack has, I'd stick with a proven winner even if it is a few bucks more.

I'd go with the 50s myself, I have a set on mine and I love em, and besides that, since the speedo is off, you never think that you're going as fast as you think, it helps when avoiding tickets

Get the right sized tire for your ride... 195/55/15. I don't see any reason to run 195/50/15. Only thing that you will accomplish is giving yourself a harsher ride.

so some of you guys are saying to stick to the stock 195-55-15......

Ok, for those of you that have the 195-50-15, is the ride rough?

45 = harsh ride but looks cool, better acceleration, bad fuel economy.

50 = best compromise of both.

55 = looks ugly, good ride, good fuel economy, crap acceration

on a smooth road they are fine

They aren't exactly rough otherwise, but you definately feel more of the road.

Well, I had some 215-35-18 when I had my 18's on my car, so I know all about rough ride......

O well, it wasn't 2bad.... I'll just buy the tires that are on a better deal....

What is the Best/Cheap brand right now?

that gets my vote... pretty dang close to stock 195/55-15 in diameter, and just a bit wider
