Fuses blowing and no marker lights
I have a 92 turbo hatch dx, I recently installed a triple gauge pod with boost, oil temp, and oil press gauges and I wired them up to the same place my turbo timer power wires are hooked up to and they all work fine but now my marker lights don't work when you click the lights on once. my HID's still work when I turn my lights on but my marker lights, and my tag lights and the back light for my stock gauges don't work anymore... there were two 10 amp fuses that keep blowing every time I turn the key. somehow I lost my fuse box cover under my dash so I don't know which fuses they are but they are side by side and there are two 10 amp fuses underneath them. Someone told me that I have a power to ground somewhere and someone else told me that I have too many grounds in one place. I did have my ground wires for my MSD box, HID(passenger side), engine ground and oil pressure sensor(for the gauges I installed) and the oil Temp sensor grounded all in one place. so I moved the msd box and hid ground over to a different bolt to ground so it's just engine ground and sensors ground on that first bolt. Even if I disconnect the gauges constant power, switched power and ground it still doesn't work. the only thing I took out was my tach so I don't see what's going on here. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm beginning to wonder if the engine ground and the ground to the gauge sensors shouldn't be in the same place?

yeah me too! It sucks cuz it's my DD and I work 12 hours a day so I don't have much time to mess with it till the weekend and that means I have to drive home every night with my hazards on...

Re: Fuses blowing and no marker lights
Hey does anyone have a pic of the diagram for the fuse box underneath the dash? Or could someone maybe go take a pic of urs? mine disappeared... first I gotta find out which fuses are the ones that blew. I'm guessing it's for the marker lights but I'd like to be 100% sure. Thanks in advance...

Re: Fuses blowing and no marker lights
TT gets power from the brown plug to the ignition switch (relay?), I think it's a black wire with a yellow stripe. I found a pic of the fuse diagram, I'm at work so on my lunch break I'm gonna go look at the fuses

ok now before you installed the gauges--- did your TT make your parking lights turn on at all? Like was that a feature so you know ur car is on? Im thinking there might be too much of a current draw coming from the gauges and the turbo timer. I would re-wire your new gauges too a different souce like at the ignition harness not the relay. I would think your gauges nees 12volt Constant- 12v acc ( for illumination and turn on) and a ground(-) Re-wire those connections.

Re: Fuses blowing and no marker lights
yeah but I just took that diagram that I drew on a piece of paper out to my car on my lunch break and there wasn't a fuse for the marker light/instrument cluster/ tag light. Apparently my buddy that took out my autometer tach also took that fuse out and didn't put it back in the right place or w/e. I put a 10 amp in there and It works now... last time I let someone else work on my car! lol. But even still the two fuses that blew were my headlight low beam fuses. I have Zenon HID's hooked up to my high beams. I just don't understand why those two fuses blew out

your HID's are hooked up to your high beams? Is it a plug n play kit? well at least you figured out your problem. I have HID's on my 92 civic and i have high n low beam set up.
