fuel rail stud broken..
was replacing my injectors today and i broke the middle and passenger side studs that hold the fuel rail down. the driver is ok. i test drove the car and it held up for then. i researched and found out i can replace the studs. but im wanting to upgrade manifolds anyways so would it be alright to drive it like this for a couple of weeks? btw its a gsr.. thanks

No, it isn't. Go buy replacement studs, and don't drive the car until you do. You're risking a serious fuel leak straight onto your (hot as ****) motor. The studs are cheap as ****, even from a dealer, and when you get a new manifold, you'll still need to buy them.

I've seen a car catch on fire because of a fuel leak. It wasn't pretty and quite embarrassing for the guy stuck in rush hour traffic with his car lit up like a bonfire.

Not a wise idea at all even if it doesn't ignite you'll have that constant smell of raw gas around/in the cabin when you're driving which is not good for you.

alright thanks for imput. i drove it down my road for a second and checked it. it held tight. i know that it can come loose at any time though. didnt think about the fire thing lol i was thinking if i lost too much fuel my motor would be running lean as **** and detonate. will not drive anymore until fixed thanks!
