Fuel Pump Replacement
I have a 97 EK civic hatch that originally had a D16. I'm swapping in a H22 from a 96 prelude and my understanding is the civic stock fuel pump doesn't have enough pressure and/or volume for the prelude motor????
What fuel pump/regulator can i use and still not affect the fuel gauge/sender???? Does it have to be an internal pump or can i use an external pump?? Also where is the current regulator, is it an integral part of the stock pump or externally located??
I don't want to mess up the stock fuel gauge and the new motor is basically stock except for headers and ignition.

Re: Fuel Pump Replacement (97civicracer)
Just get a Walbro. I have a 190lhr on my turbo D and it works just fine. A little loud, but other than that it's all good. You can also upgrade to a 135lhr pump from a SI/GSR, etc.
You need an intake fuel pump.

link doesnt work. but basically if i buy that walbro 255 ill be set, nothing else will need to be tampered with or changed? sounds easier than i had originally thought. i would like to read more up on that site, but the link isnt working for me.
