Default doing a clutch change

I didn't even look at the link.... but every clutch i've changed on a honda comes with a plastic alignment tool. It's a plastic shaft with the correct amount of splines on it, and you slide it through the clutch into the motor to help line things up.

kk i checked the link, dunno what that tool is but it looks like the plastic throwaway version I've always gotten in the box with new clutches.

^x2, unless your buying the clutch used, it should come with a clutch alignment tool..

You can do with out the clutch alignment tool, but its a bit easier with it. I just did mine with a transmission bolt and eye-balling the placement!

use 10mm long socket to align it if u dont have the tool, and look around if its even

Dont need one, but i like to have them, they are cheep why not just go to autozone or something and get one.

i use a ratchet extension with electrical tape haha works everytime

i think i just might go to autozone and get a rental one its a used clutch i dont have the plastic alignment one its a used clutch off my other gsr motor

i no would anyone know how many plines are for the gsr transmisson cause o'reilly's auto parts sells the clutch alignment tool buy it self

autozone has a rent a tool servive u can get one from there or any other part store that has loan a tool... pepboys, advance

use the alignment tool, makes things much easier, i think pepboys has them

yea went ahead and bought a new clutch instead of using a used one i had so wouldnt have to do it agian but thanks for everybody help
