fan blower problems
I tried to do a search, but haven't really been bale to find the info i need. When i turn my fan on to blow air out the vents, it will work right about 90% of the time. Then sometimes, it will make a weird noise like a fan belt squeeling when it is on. It is not the air conditioner pump though, it is happening without the air being turned on.
Now, this noise can come and go just like that...but i have found if i change the fan speed, it will usually quit making the noise. The noise can happen at any fan speed...low or high, or somewhere in between.
From what i have found, i could have leaves in the fan or else the bearing is going out. I wouldn't think the bearing is going out because i would guess it would make a noise all the time if that were true. The leaves in there, maybe?
I took the glove box door off tonight to see the unit, but am not sure what to take apart next to see if there is leaves inside.
Anyone know if i am on the right track, and what i should take off next to fix the problem.
Thanks,
Rob
