so i was doing my oil change, no leaks no oil burning just a reg oil change. the car was jacked up quite a bit. then i drained the oil through the bolt till it stopped coming out. then i took off the oil filter by hand and their was almost no oil in it. i flipped it and no oil came out, after i let it sit, very little came out like a tablespoon or 2

but oil pressure is good 80-90psi i think

is this normal, i do alot of oil changed but first one in this car. and ive never had something like this usually yhr filter is full of oil

none spilled from the male end on the filter or the oil filter when i removed it.


am i overexagerating or could this be a potential problem in the future

car runs great vtec engages fine.

oil pressure at like 60 idle and goes up to 90+ when revving

thats alot of pressure. check your oil pickup inside (if you remove the oil pan)

what should it be? In my Y8/Z6 setup, its about 60 idling 80ish when accelerating when i first turn it on. Eventually it gets down to about 12PSI per 1000RPM's, but usually hovers around 18-25 on idle. And goes to 60-70 @ redline.

i think all the guages ive seen say about 20-30 then 40-50 in higher rpms.
that is for gsr motor though. about 4 dif gsr motors

at least at those levels have some sort of good crankcase breathing.

oh well ok, then my pressures are fine, i was just worried that they might be low lol

my autometer gauge hooked up to the pressure sedning unit goes all the way up to 90+ WHEN I floor it.
