EG3 1993 : error code 19
Hello, I'm French. I ask your help because no French forum has managed to help me. Maybe you know better the Civic.
My car is a Civic EG3 of 1993. I bought it used. I made some repairing and maintains for to give it a second life. Last month, my EG3 had a fuel leak at the carburetor gasket. I replaced the joint and a few days later, my car stalled at stop. I changed my fuel filter and added a cleaner in my resevoir. I also did a reset ECU. The problem disappeared for a few days. After driving on the reservation, the car stopped and refused to start. I thought about running out of fuel. So I handed the essence and I had to pump the gas pedal to start engine.
The next day, my car stalled at stop. I added again a cleaner but it is the same. I decided to check my ECU. Without touching the test connector, the LED displays the error code 19 (one long and nine short). In the technical review, Honda recommends a reset ecu. I do, but the error code is still there. I used the test connector by inserting a paper clip and it's the same error code 19. Even the engine running: error code 19.
At stop, the car has a very low idle or stalls immediately. I think my ECU is dead, what do you think?
thank you
