EG coupe door jam
I just bought a 93 coupe. Passenger side door is stuck. I have googled every iteration of this problem and to no avail. Lots of people that can't get their interior door panel off but not many with their door locked shut. I took off the screw behind the door latch, as well as in the little storage recess underneath the door latch. Then I unhooked all the hooks from the vinyl top of the interior panel all the way across. The third screw is still inhibiting a total removal of the panel. The only other option I can see is to take the passenger side seat out, which seems like 2x the work.
I made a slight cut in the latex (?) in between the panel and the sheet metal. This gives me a sliver off access to the locking mechanism. Given the location of the mechanism, I wonder if taking the whole panel off is even the way to go? The mechanism seems to be tucked in between two pieces of sheet metal. I did come across some instructions for drilling, but had a difficult time seeing the direct relationship between that and my problem. Any help would be worth hundreds of dollars spent at a body shop.
PS I have power locks.

Never mind. I posted this after two hours of fumbling with a butter knife trying to get the lock mechanism to give. So naturally, 5 minutes after posting this, it worked. Done deal. If you run into this problem hit me up chaseteter@gmail.com i'll tell u what I did.
