Default ECU problem for the best techers!

My ECU won't reset. Tried the negative terminal, the 15 amp, th 7.5 amp. Tried all of them in any combination you can think of, and the ECU will not reset.

Burnt a p30 map onto p28 with uber, running a little rich, but triggered no CEL. was going to tune with wideband so plugged in ostrich with the same map, tapped up the wideband and CEL triggered. Limp mode. I pulled the code 41 and reset it, then took off the ostrich and plugged in the original map. CEL triggered again. Now I can't reset, nor can I pull codes. I tap in grey plugs the exact same way that I always do, and nothing... CEL just stays solid, and it won't reset. Any suggestions will help.

wait, isnt 41 a LAF code??? if so i think you got some wiring issue. or you have fried your ECU.

41 is a primary o2 heater. how would i have fried the ecu. it still starts and runs, just rich as **** ( wideband reading 10's -11's at idle) just can't reset it or pull code anymore....

sounds like an issue with getting the rom on the ostrich.

have you cut the j1 trace to revert to stock and test the ecu then?
