Re: ECU jumper hardness help!!
Your car is obd1. You should run an obd1 ecu. So no conversion harness is needed.
A d15 ecu is not going to run your car right. Obd1 b16 (p30) ecus are hard to come by so you might be better off getting a chipped p28 with a b16 map. Check out jk tuning or phearable for good deals on an ecu.

What ECU do you have? As in, please post the numbers/letters on the side of the label from the B16 ECU.

Re: ECU jumper hardness help!!
Hey guys, I know B16Ben so maybe I can shed some light on what he is trying to do. A friend of ours has a b18 ecu and ben was going to try and get that from him and replace his d15 ecu because he has a b16 swap in his civic. The plugs for the b18 ecu is different than the d15 harness because I believe the b18 is obd2 and the d15 is obd1, right? I think he should get a chipped p28 or p30 ecu and just plug and play but since we can get our hands on the b18 ecu immediately he is wanting to do that, plus he's getting a good deal on it lol If he just got a obd1 to obd2 jumper harness would that work and allow the b16 to run better than it does now since the d15 ecu is non vtec or should he just get a different ecu? Thanks in advance for any insight you may have.

Re: ECU jumper harness help!!
I would pass on the b18 ecu. Like your buddy said, its Obd2 which is not a direct plug in for your car. Also a stock gsr ecu isn't the best for your b16 anyways. Go ahead and get yourself a chipped p28 with a stock b16 map
