A while ago, i did the rear disc on my 94 del sol vtec. new pads and rotors and i cleaned out and re-lubed sliding pins. i remember when putting the e-brake cables back on for one side or maybe both, that i had to turn the mechanism to line up the hole on the cable correctly. when doing this it slipped or gave way and made a loud pop and then i was able to line it up correctly. brakes work fine back there and make good pad rotor contact. the e-brake cables move in cabin and on calipers but e-brake does not do anything at all. btw one side is a swapped out for a different caliper if it matters.

hope i dont have to get new calipers but if i do rsx/ep3 here i come.

Have you checked where the Ebrake handle connects to the cables, there's an adjuster there to change the slack.

yes ive tried it all the way up and even added spacers for it to pull more and nothing, but i can see the lever on the calipers move.
