Default dual core / half size radiator questions for turbo

i understand what a dual core radiator is.
since it is thicker would that get in the way of a radiator compliant turbo manifold?

half size radiators allow fitment of the intercool right?
looking straight at the car, is it half size by tallness or wideness?

im trying to picture the whole fitment in my head but the triangle wont go into the square hole

Dual core radiator is just that, two cores. If you have a 92 civic, it's "half" the length. It's "twice" the width. Same height.

hm.. so if it's half the length that allows for any type of manifold...
isn't the intercooler still blocking part of the radiator?

Depends on where you mount the IC, what the size of the intercooler is. I know my IC blocked part of my radiator.

so for a smaller project a shorter intercooler that doesnt block the radiator so much would be all good?

Picture for reference, it took quite a bit of space, but still could flow air to the radiator. I'll get a closer pic, this is the only one I have hosted right now.

The AC is what usually gets in the way. You should be ok.

what factors if the ac gets in the way?

people go halfsize because the turbo gets in the way not the a/c...just more room for your manifold and your radiator isnt next to the burning hot manifold+turbo

they have turbo manifolds that allow you to keep a/c & those that dont. the dual core rad will be fine with no problems, the most you may have to do is shave off some of the black plastic from your stock cooling fan , depending on which side you put your turbo. air flows through your intercooler cooler right to your radiator.

running front mount and stock dual core radiator on 13psi no heating issues.

these always water wetter & other coolant additives if your worried about heat
