Hello All, I purchased a 1998 Honda civic ex All Info about this car says it should have a vtec motor, A month ago The engine started knocking, Went to rebuild, engine not vtec, and engine was not able to be rebuilt SO I bought a JDM motor and installed it. Now the problem is I get 2 codes p1337 and p1259. I have taken care of the p1337 with a trick I found. I know why I am getting the p1259 code I want to know if there is a way to get the check eng light to go away Cause I have no vtec solenoid or pressure switch but I have 2 plugs and no place to plug in. The new motor runs great 45mpg.
